I'm living in London and working on finding producing partners for my dramedy feature project, Chemical Attraction.
I'm also ghostwriting several books, writing the next Single Mom Survival Guide in my series (this one about world travel with your kids), and doing more comedy improv.
I'm back in London for April and May. Working on various ghostwriting projects as well as rewriting and tweaking parts of my feature rom com script, Chemical Attraction, so it's as tight and ready to go as possible as I embark on the search for producing partners.
Then I need to align the novel, which is already available on Amazon, with this new version of the script, and finish the second novel in the series, Bloom's Love Potions (working title).
I'm reading Amanda Palmer's The Art of Asking which is thoroughly enjoyable and I'm learning a lot from. Other notable and recent reads: Forever Nomad by Tynan, a brilliant and up to date handbook for long-term travel and includes so much out-of-the-box thinking regarding travel, life, and productivity. My favorite kind of book and I can't recommend it enough. Just started reading one of his earlier books Superhuman By Habit because I figure I need me some of these if I'm going to accomplish the output of books and scripts I hope to by year's end.
This past week I was listening to one of Tim Ferriss' podcasts as part of his Tools of Titans series. I love this book so much. I love Tim Ferriss. Seriously. Okay, I'm not a total groupie but I really appreciate his books and how he digs deeper than most when he interviews people. I am going back and forth between this book and Tribe of Mentors. Both well worth it. So, I just finished the podcast with the wonderfully endearing and inspiring Derek Sivers and I am now inspired to now start my own "Now" page on my site. Thanks, Derek!
This is what I'm up to now. This week has seen the needle move towards green on getting my romantic comedy feature project off the ground. The train has definitely left the station, as in this project is happening, I believe, and now it's my job to help drive this train to production, making some stops along the way to let more collaborators on who would like to join us. Bear with me, while I remain cryptic for the time being!
In other news, I'm trying to decide between finishing the second book in my Chemical Attraction series or starting the memoir/self-help book I've been itching to write for a couple of years and finally feeling ready to.
Also, considering a trip to Cyprus to visit one of my brothers. It's not every day your brother moves to Cyprus for a few months and the invite is a tough offer to pass up. Even though I should probably stay put, clean out the closets, and make toast, or something like that.
